Chicks Dig the Long Ball

Let the record show that I am in love with my softball team.

“Chicks dig the long ball.” Kathy said as I approached the plate.

“No Kathy.  Chicks dig the opposite field triple.” was my reply.

I did not hit an opposite field triple because, truth be told, I can’t hit opposite field.

I did, however, hit the long ball.

And let the record show, chicks DO dig the long ball.
