Oh, the Sweet Sweet Cyclocross
I figured the Oregonian wouldn’t want a piece about ‘cross this year since we did a big spread last year, but I was wrong.
They called jonesing for the mud and the mayhem so we put together a little piece about the glory of going slow. Cuz really? That’s all I can speak to this year – and I’m happy to do it.
Check it out here. Many thanks to Tim LaBarge who contributed images (by the way, Tim is a freelance photographer for hire – for the love of god, if you have photography needs hire this man. He’ll blow your mind, promise). I love it when my words get to dance with PDXcross-worthy photography.
By the way, I think OregonLive is still getting the autmoatic byline generator thingamajig worked out. So, this wasn’t really written by “Special to the Oregonian”, it was written by me – I swear!
