They’re baaaaa-aaaaaaack.
‘Cross season started over the weekend with Pain on the Peak and while I had to miss it due to a family obligation, I hear it was brutal, rough, and HOT. Brutal and rough are rad, so even though Hot sucks, I’m giving this race a gold star for coming out of the gate swinging. [ok, ok the Cyclocross Crossover Stage Race was really the first race, but it was a stage race so it's a little different.]
The start of ‘cross season means another happy occasion: the return of pdxcross and all those little shooters who make us look so shiny and tough.
I’m happy to be a part of this super mellow crew and excited to see how I can contribute to the project this year. In the meantime, talented pdxcrosser Deb Pang Davis has revamped the website and it’s slick.
High five, Deb! Who’s killin’ ‘em now?
Well, Jamie Francis, to be exact.
Not only did PDXcross deliver their first set of images for 2009 Cross season, one of the rascally little buggers actually managed to win the men’s beginner race. Congrats to Mister Francis who managed to make a post-victory portrait look just. this. good.
