The online version of this Sunday’s column is already up over at Oregon Live. If you get the paper and want to check out the print version, it will run in tomorrow’s edition in the Outdoors section, which is in Travel.
Regular readers with long memories will notice that this is a blog entry that I reworked. There are also some good tips there for newbies about getting started with riding in groups and learning how to draft.
I haven’t been good about posting links when new stuff comes out (and I realize they are hard to find on Oregon Live) so here are links to some of my favorite recent columns:
- The Cyclocross Package: Welcome to the Carnival of Pain (with video of me looking semi-competent through barriers… a miracle!)
- The Value of Kindness
- The Randonneuring Package (with great photography by Nate Armburst and Daniel Wakefield Pasley)

Really enjoyed the Oregonian article today, Heidi. Sounds a lot like my ride yesterday with “the guys” from BTV — had to be pushed by hand up four hills! Yay for teams with unselfish guys!
