The Missing Roll: Rapha West Coast Gentleman’s Race 2010
In honor of those about to suffer through the Rapha Gentleman’s Ride, I unearthed the disposable camera that we were provided during the Great Double-Bike Adventure of 2010 at the West Coast version last summer.
[Cringe.]
I took most of these either while stopped for flats or from the back of my tandem while simultaneously trying to be a human engine and keep my pilot alive. (I’m both surprised and pleased to note that there is actually a photo of the Sicilian smiling.)
I suppose it’s also appropriate to dedicate this unearthed roll of film to today’s apocalyptic potential.
Cheers,
h
PS: There’s only a few photos because the whole “photo taking thing” became really unpopular after things started to go sideways.
