How long you on the East Coast?

I'm down through NYC on the way to NJ tomorrow. I miss just going to NYC. In the last almost-year, every trip I have taken has been through that city to visit family and take care of my grandmother.

And I know about that hurt after you take a break from the gym. It's amazingly strange how little it takes for that to set in, but then it's also amazingly huge (and strange) how GOOD that hurt feels. Like--it's a strange sort of pain that I welcome. Maybe I'm just a masochist. I mean, well, I do other masochistic things. Like write poems and send them to literary journals. And befriend poets who wind up killing themselves. Heh.
