Hi-
This has nothing to do with your post whatsoever (sorry!). I meant to email you a while back when you blogged about having low iron. I found out almost a year ago that I have low iron, though not as low as yours. I took iron pills daily, then twice daily, then two pills twice daily...you get the picture. Not much change, either. If you are having that same issue, I wanted to tell you something that did work, and pretty quickly. (If you're vegetarian, this won't work). I began taking liver daily. Not pills, but not cooked either, 'cause I can't stand that stuff. So I found this idea on the net, and it works: you freeze the liver, and cut off small pieces, still frozen, but small enough to swallow like a large pill. I divide the liver into 3 oz. baggies, and the bag needs to be gone by the end of the week. It's totally painless and it REALLY raised my iron levels! Anyway, hope that's going better for you...Zoey

That's awesome! Biking is much slower to catch on here where I'm at. I bike about 2-3 times a week to work. While there is a bike trail part of the way, once I'm off of that, it is not pro-biker at all. Portland sounds really pretty cool!
